Come listen to students and staff of the Haworth Academic Center, Bangor, present a new local heron tracking project. Kim Robichaud, Lead Teacher and Master Naturalist, along with her team of student citizen scientists will share how they paired up with IF&W Wildlife Biologist Danielle D’Auria to locate, trap, tag and release a Great Blue Heron. Also find out how you too can keep track of this and other herons’ movement in a digital age. Admission is $5 to benefit the Heron Observation Network. All are welcome. Pre-registration not required.
